Support

Although Living Potential receives social care funding to deliver direct support to individuals, we rely on charitable donations to ensure our service has the resources we need. Horticulture and animal care equipment, arts and crafts materials, musical instruments, transport costs such as vehicles to ensure activities can be accessed by all, up-to-date IT and sensory  equipment to assist verbal communication, understanding and sensory needs,  life-skills equipment such as for cooking and domestic tasks.

Your donations could also help us to develop promotional literature and web based information to ensure we can reach as many people as might benefit from nature-based interventions as possible. We hope to hold open days, develop training and have outreach programs shortly. We will be working with the University of Leeds in the training of social workers from January this year.

Your financial help can mean Living Potential can open a world of therapeutic outdoor learning for all ages and abilities and help create the open community farm we envisage. Are you thinking of delivering any events that you would be sponsored for? If so you can now download our new sponsor form and help with raising money for us.

If you would like to make a donation then please click on either of the buttons below.

Crowdfunding is for a specific project – The Heritage Orchard – it is NOT an all-or-nothing model, we will keep-it-all and reinvest back into that specific project. All details are on the web page.

Everyday donations are handled through Virgin Money Giving.

Here is how your everyday donations can help to make big, everyday differences to the adults and young people we support:

  • £10 might pay for seeds, bushes or trees in our allotment or equipment for the kitchen and art room.

  • £20 will help pay towards supporting the allotment through materials and equipment such as gloves, hoses, fruit cages

  • £50 will help fund the current small animal housing, feed costs and fencing.

  • £100 will enable us to provide new sensory and IT equipment for the adults and young people we support.

  • £500 will assist us in purchasing a new vehicle to get people to the activities we provide.

The Crowdfunding was for a specific
project
it is now closed but thanks to all those who invested in us. We will be re-investing back into the project in a short while.

Everyday donations
are handled through
